Quite a few people in our Bible study class came down with COVID this past week, so the wife and I decided to skip this AM. Consequently, I decided to do some 1-Q in a GBD Midnight on my screened in back porch. And yes, it came from the factory with a green stem.😁
Smoking some C&D “Eight State Burley” in my Tiberius cob……I decided I hated the weird silvery/tortoise/funky acrylic Demi-churchwarden stem. I “re-stemmed” it with a white MM short stem. It’s more to my liking now…actually, I love it👍🏻
Having some Escudo in my Savinelli 804. Raining a little today, so it has cooled down. I like the Escudo so much i ordered 2 more tins. It lasts a long time in the bowl and has a pleasing taste. Good stuff.
Had a bowl of C&D Star of the East flake while paying for the last (2) pipes I will ever purchase on e-bay / paypal.
I negotiated with a guy in Germany and because the euro is almost at parity with the dollar I was feeling pretty good about the deal I got, but when the paypal total came up there was 28 euros of tax added, pissed me off.
