@RockyMountainBriar I have been seeing that Honest lighter of yours in numerous pictures you've posted and decided I had to have one, found it on Amazon, I probably should have asked you how you like it before I bought one, it's a bit late at this point.
@mapletop I LOVE it! I like the long tools and the fact that they fold out from the bottom not the middle. Also the tamper foot is small enough to fit some of the tiny pipes I have. I do have to fill it quite a bit, but I also have to relight many, many times a bowl....usually.
Just a short smoke tonight before hitting the rack. Smoking some Drew Estate “Grand Central” in a nose warmer billiard “The Hampton”. I have looked for the manufacturer of this little guy with no luck, any clues let me know.
Smoking some Spark Plug. Taking care of the farm while the parents are on vacation. Wife and baby are with her parents. First pipe I’ve had since my wife’s seizure. I decided I needed some porch sitting and peace and quiet while I’m up here.
@RockyMountainBriar Received the new Honest lighter today, I like it and agree with you on the tools. Works reliably and holy crap if you mis-adjust the flame, you can light the pipe of the guy on the other side of the room.
Great lighter at the price point, the only possible negative is that its made in China. but unless its a Zippo or Bic or possibly Ronson, there are not really any American lighters being produced.
And after the war on smoking tobacco and the mass availability of disposables it has to be a very tough and nitch market.
@mapletop I have pretty much used mine most of the time since I bought it, it works well, everything is handy and a good size. It works for all of my pipes except the really deep ones.
Two weeks ago my Brebbia Sun pipe's tenon cracked and as it was one of my work pipes, I needed a replacement. I could have drawn a pipe from my collection but I'm hard on my work pipes.
So last week when a shipment of tobacco arrived from P&C there was a small note in the box that said that if I went to this particular P&C web address there was a sale on Stanwell brushed black pipes for $39.00
I already have a brushed black # 15 as a work pipe and is has been dropped so many times I can't count and yet the dam thing is unblemished, so I thought no reason I can't have two, so I bought a 246 and it arrived today.
Taking it out for its maiden smoke tonight before taking it to work tomorrow, filled it with some GLP jack knife plug
Trying a little mix tonight. Packed some C&D “Virginia Flake” about 50/50 with Lane Ltd. “BCA” in an old WDC Gold Dot #40 Lovat. I have had this pipe for years, but this is the first smoke in it after I refurbished it.
@motie2 Yes, that WDC is a nice pipe, no fills or pits either. The WDC Gold Dots are very good briar, the other flank is as good or better and the front and rear aren’t bad either👍🏻

I am envious, but you sir are no ass!

I wonder if you could get ahold of our TPL moderator/company person here and scare a pin up?
Our moderator is @Leonard but we are so well behaved he seldom makes an appearance.
I wasn't sure anymore, I haven't seen any TPL head honchos for awhile.
Sure and have you tried Sutliff Barbados Plantation? The foundational rum blend.
My pleasure, sir.
Glad you are back.

Beautiful straight grain......
Enjoying a before dinner Black Forest in an MM Pride.

Had some time off from watching my son for a pipe. Haunted Bookshop in my Savinelli Billiard.
