Thanks @KA9FFJ. I found it at J C Penny's. It's the first thing I've bought there in years .
Tonight after fine dining at Burger King I'm relaxing with a bowl of Captain Black classic in a Missouri Meerschaum Legend. Linus has his blanket and I have my Captain Black.
Since I found a couple more tins of the Panama Jack “Key Lime”, I’m smoking a bowl this evening in an old BBB “Own Make” #2947 Zulu with a Hesson innertube. It has the early (in my opinion, cool) Silver/Red Rhombus stem inlay. It was a well loved pipe before I acquired it, the nomenclature on the top of the shank is very faint. It’s not like it was made yesterday afterall🙂
Still looks warm where you are @pipeman83 Crazy here in the St. Louis area. High yesterday tied the all-time date high of 86°. Presently right now it's 47°! I guess it's just another 2020 thing... 🥴
I'm smoking some Black Cordial from King Street Emporium in an estate Buzz Chaquin Astral. This is my first French pipe. The Black Cordial is surprisingly cherry. The pouch note is Cherry cordial and the cheery leads the way in the taste department. I'm not a huge cherry fan but this leads the pack in the few I've tried. It works really well with after dinner coffee.
@KA9FFJ, that’s it for the nice weather, shortly after, it started raining, the temperature dropped, I was able to finish the bowl, today it is 46 degrees out.
Once again, a delightful bowl of Scottys' Butternut Burley in my Bones "Fat Author'. After dinner I will smoke a bowl of Sutliff Black Cordial in my relatively new Bones "Bent Apple", in fact I have already "chambered the round" so to speak (Condition Alpha). I hope the rain holds up for a few more hours.
@motie2 yes, hints are there especially with the first third of the bowl. Then the tobacco starts to become a little heady and the hints of peach, including the aroma, dissipates almost entirely going into the last third of the bowl... IMHO... Still an enjoyable experience... I should add, if you exhale through the nostrils, you can still detect the peach flavor to the very bottom...
So I smoked my first post COVID pipe this afternoon. Hal O’ The Wynd in a Radice Rind Billiard. While I enjoyed my first smoke in over three weeks, I have to say my taste/smell is not at all back. I could feel some perique tingle, but the smoke was flat otherwise. I’m hoping that improves with time or else I’ve a whole bunch of blends that will likely taste the same. Time will tell! I’m optimistic.
@kellyg53 If you have a problem with this, don't do it. But by exhaling through your nostrils from time to time, you will notice a boost of flavors IMHO...
I decided to smoke the inaugural bowl of my Peterson POY 2020 with my old standby Lane “BCA”. This has to be one of the worst drilled pipes, they almost went through the bottom of the bowl when they drilled the smoke hole. The airway is drilled high in the shank and low in the bowl. I’m a little concerned that the heel might burn through😳. I probably would have sent it back had it not been one of the few Natural finish 2020 POY’s, pipe #5/400. I had to chamfer the stem tenon and “even out” the heel of the bowl and remove the stain from inside of the tobacco chamber. I’m using a Philtpad in the bottom to protect it, and save tobacco. I have to say, it is smoking wonderfully though. I will probably add some pipe-mud in the heel, and maybe fit one of my briar “screens”, the extra one I have left is a titch too large in diameter. I don’t feel like going out in the garage this evening to make another on the lathe...it’s like 20F and dropping🥶 It sucks plopping down hard earned greenbacks for a pipe that is drilled so poorly. Thankfully I think it will be ok with my fixes, it is smoking well👍🏻

Yep, that is part of my normal smoking routine, but one of the effects of my having COVID-19 is a loss of smell & taste. I think I may have around 20% of my taste back, but less smell. When retrohaling the Hal 'O The Wynd yesterday, all I got was a tingle, I'm assuming from the perique. I normally have a more discerning palate; not nearly as much as some, but I can taste/smell the differences between most blends and blend types. Right now, pretty much not at all. It was like smoking cardboard with a tingle.

BEAUTIFUL PIPE!
Smoked two bowls.

Can you really taste peach in that blend?
Still an enjoyable experience...

I was very ill for most of 2018, and my spirits were uplifted by my TPL brothers of the briar, for which I shall be ever grateful.
It started with shingles and went way downhill from there. Check out the Good and Welfare folder beginning around April 2018.
