@buflosab How was the Russ Bold Blend? Thinking about ordering some next time. How does it stack up to like say Sutliff Spiced Rum or my favorite Sunset Rum?
Well I've worked 45 hours of the past 72 hour weekend. I don't know if there was a full moon or what but it was one of the busiest weekends we've had in a while. So I'm gonna celebrate being off for one day by starting my day off with some Barbados Plantation before I try to start catching up on things around the house. Also have some Sunset Rum for the frequent breaks I'll be taking from the Honey Do list.
65° here in St. Louis area right now. Doing some Villiger Jamaican Export in a recently acquired, reworked and refurbed Archway bent... Nice to sit out on my front porch rocker for a change...
Another beautiful 70 something degree day, sitting outside having a mixture of Two Friends bed and breakfast with some Peter stokkebye luxury English blend in my Carolina blue bent Molina...ahhh
@mapletop I think Sea Dog is a nice, solid English blend. It doesn't necessarily wow me or do anything special compared to, say Epiphany, but its one of my go-to blends when I'm in the mood for an English.
@Londy3 Your count is closer than you think, but I'm taking over 50 to the St. Louis pipe show in a couple weeks. So I'll see how many I have after that... Thanks for the compliment brother...
Sinuses cleared up overnight and I was able to smoke two bowls yesterday. First was a bowl of G.L. Pease Stratford in my Ascorti Business and I followed that with a bowl of CAO Moontrance in my Maestro de Paja sitter.
I am slowly working my way through some of the blends I jarred in 2018 before I move on to opening something new or buying more tobacco.
@Michael308, To answer your question, I feel the Bold Rum blend was pretty good. Maybe a bit better than Sunset Rum as far as Rum taste goes. As I mentioned to motie2, it didn't knock Barbados Plantion off the top spot. But give the Bold Rum a shot if you desire.
@Darmon@Oddjob27 I have been looking at the 320 EX in a Savinelli Silver.....have seen a few, so far I have just missed out on the auctions I have also been looking at Savinelli Tundras, haven’t “pulled the trigger”.....yet.
