Been Home bound with pinched nerve in my neck but I can't take it any more, It's 20 out side so going out for a few minutes and I'm smoking some HH Burley Flake in the Peterson 303
How is that PS Nougat? I've had my eye on that for a while. I just have so many in my cellar that I have not taken for a spin of which this is one, that I get confused trying to make a stupid decision. I am going to wait for your response......
Yesterday I was enjoying some Sunset Rum at work when a call came in about some people possibly hiding in a wood line and an old abandoned school. So I arrive on scene and get out only to realize I'm still steadily puffing away on my pipe. My back up officer looked at me and laughed. I said screw it, and went lunting, cleared the building and woods while happily puffing away. I couldn't help but laugh at myself.
Holy Jesus Lord Almighty, after who knows how long... I FINALLY found some time to light up a pipe... at 2:00am haha! Boswell's Bear Blend in my Morgan Bones Hanging Brandy. Big shout out to whoever sent me my TPL Secret Santa!!
A while back I wrote a topic called "The Satisfaction of An Empty Tin" and I've just finished my tin of Captain Black Midnight Gold. Smoked the remainder last night in my Cory Pipe.
Like to comment on a post about Cherry flavored blends, agreed with@ghost, that CBRM, is not bad as opposed to most of the Cherry blends I've had. Lane Dark Red is subtle just as @pwkarch described it.
My neck having improved I went up to Arlington Pipe & Cigar and as part of the ritual bought some tobaccos that were new to the store and to me.
Purchased two Cornell & Diehl blends that they market as "vintage blends", the first was Awakened Elder and the other was Miskatonic Mixture which I smoked in two new Stanwell amber series acquisitions, a 15 shape and a 232
The Awakened Elder is an English containing Black Cavendish, Burley, Latakia, Orientals, Perique and Virginia. Its rare that I smoke a bowl to the very bottom but I did in this instance.
The Miskatonic Mixture has no Latakia in it but reminds me of an English in other ways, the flavor of the orientals being ever present, the mixture contains Black Cavendish, Oriental/Turkish, Perique, and Virginia.
I can definitely recommend both blends as they smoked nicely and once again tip my hat to C&D for their creativity.
True enough Christmas is well past, but I too enjoyed a few Christmas blends last night while watching "The Walking Dead". Sutliff Christmas Spice and Hearth And Home Egg Nog. Pulled out my Nording Signature pipe which provides for a nice long smoke.
Smoking a bowl of Sutliff RedVirginiaCrumbleCake at McCrainie’s Pipe Shop. Talking with the owner, Todd McCrainie, about his friendship with Mike McNeil (McClelland). I love this pipe shop!

Smoked a bowl of Margate in a Morgan Bones sitting barrel while driving in to work.

I vote for the Chocolate Mousse.......if that matters
I LOVE Sutliff Christmas Spice......all of their "spice" named blends are great.....
