@Londy3 I could not help notice that the picture you posted of the Old Fashion you were drinking contained a cooked piece of bacon.
I've had or made many old fashions over the years, especially living next to Wisconsin as it is the state cocktail, however, never seen bacon included before.
Currently smoking C&D's Crooner in my Country Gentleman cob. I have to say, if you were ever interested in trying deertongue in a blend, this is the one to go for. The Burley gives it a bit more flavor than C&D's other deertongue blend, Gentleman Caller, which is a nice blend with one of the finest tin notes I've smelled, but lacks a bit in flavor. I also had to show off my newest print which will hang with my pipe stuff, which my wife got me for Christmas.
@mapletop, aaah yes. I was waiting to see if anyone noticed. Adding bacon to an old fashioned puts it above average for sure. It's my little invention. Use it as a stir stick and eat at the end with the fruit. Very tasty.
Congratulations on a great pipe! You are loved for sure!
@motie2, you are correct! I have had it and love it.
The one I shared in the picture is from Adli, a German based small grocery store and it was only $5 bucks for a six pack! The one your talking about they don't carry probably because you can get it anywhere for around $12/6pk
Smoking a bowl of Lane Ltd ReadyRubbed by my fireplace (smoke goes up the chimney) in my Hans Christian Andersen cutty. Smoking before the family wakes up.

Look for this variety of Weihenstephaner. Best beer I've ever had, bar none.
