@Michael308 If you like a gentle aromatic smoke that you can smoke all day, give it a try. It will REMIND you of Barbados Plantation... not the same... but could be a close cousin...
Sorry to barge in on the conversation @ Michael308, I think you would like Sunset Rum, not as much of a strong Rum taste as Barbados Plantation, still a great blend. I buy it frequently and sort of look at this blend as more bang for the buck. Keep BP as a special occasion smoke.
My filter adapter came in, so I can finally put this estate Jobey Paneled pipe to good use. Before, air would escape between the stem and shank, making it extremely difficult to get a draw from the bowl. Now, I hardly see any smoke escaping between the stem and shank, and it works like a dream. Thank goodness, because I really like this old estate. Had a nice time smoking some Old Joe Krantz in it.
@Danfriedman - did the exact thing yesterday with the boys. Old style barber and it's right next to a cigar tavern. I sat out front enjoying a full bowl to the pleasure of many passing by.
Russ’s Mountain Pass in a no name billiard,@Londy3, I got it at the Lane table at the NASPC show, which I have an extra if you want it I can send it to you, the other pin is the NASPC club pin, did you come back to Cleveland for the holiday?
In honor of Tolkien's birthday, I switched out my normal iced coffee for a local beer while enjoying C&D's Briar Fox in my Stanwell Liverpool pipe. Happy birthday Professor!
Enjoying some Shire Weed from Connecticut Valley Tobacconist, Enfield, CT. It's the first bowl in my new Vauen bent (F 204), also purchased at CVT. What a wonderful shop, with a nice selection of pipes for sale.

GL Pease Fillmore in my Savinelli Poker. Happy New Year!
Sunset Rum is nice, but pales next to Barbados Plantation.
Drove my wife to her college course advisors meeting. Figured what better way to wait than a little Barbados Plantation.
