Three things: - learning some new songs on my ukulele - keeping up on NFL free agency and trades - catching up on readings and shows (just finished watching HBO Band of Brothers and The Pacific)
I actually worked for 6 hours today at a roto-molding factory that is considered essential because they make the big plastic carts that hospitals use for laundry (you could probably load 4-5 stiffs in it as well).
Like going back in time, all their equipment is relay logic and timers and of course no electrical schematics, but hey I don't mind a challenge.
Since "social distancing" started a couple around the beginning of March, I've been smoking my way through my pipe collection of 56 pipes. I started with my Meerschaums and transitioned to my briars. I've smoked them from the most expensive on down and have maybe five of my older less expensive pipes to go. (Whoops! I forgot the four clay pipes and three Missouri Meerschaums, so make that 73 pipes.) Anyway, I've smoked a Linkman's Hollycourt Special (from before they changed the name to Dr. Grabow, a Marken and the pipe pictured below. It's the very first pipe I carved about six years ago from a briar block kit I bought from Mark Tinsky. Some may call it ugly but it easily passes a pipe cleaner and when I pack it right, it's good for an hour-long smoke. Today, I opened my last jar of Senior Chief and sat under the shade of the red maple tree in my front yard.
“Bring out your dead!”......not funny.....not a fan of Monte a Python in these trying times? Please don’t lose your humor with all the rest of the things we are losing in this craziness.
@RockyMountainBriar It was more of a commentary on what is essential, there are a lot of smaller / midsize businesses that have stayed open under the essential blanket, some are cheats and some just don't make any sense.
Wife and I went for our morning walk. Neighbor has a small business with 2 vans for about 4 years now. I thought their motto is particularly poignant given the present situation...
I love fly fishing with an ultralight fly rod... Still not prime time up here, but the grandson had a good time at the pond with an ultralight spinning rig...
Just got around to watching the final season of "Games Of Thrones". My God!!! ... that episode called "The Long Night" was like watching an actual big budget movie like "Lord Of The Rings" and not something made for TV. It had to cost a fortune to make that episode.

"Here's to alcohol: the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.”
RUM, RUM, RUM FOR ME!

Just make sure it's 60% alcohol so you can kill the virus at the same time.
