@opipeman, @RockyMountainBriar Thanks guys. It really was good. I let the dry rub sit overnight. Smoked it using red oak, white oak and hickory. Then before it was done poured my homemade glaze and let it rest. Twas a really big hit.
Tonight's dinner was a prelude to summer, tomato salad with home grown herbs, if only the tomatoes came from our garden! I had salmon, Lynda had cheeseburgers. My dessert pipe is GLP Charring Cross in an MM Apple Diplomat, Lynda's having C&D Red Virginia Ribbon in a paper tube pipe, both of us are enjoying hard ciders!
@Londy3 I do, but it gives me terrible acid reflux. Sometimes enough acid comes up and burns my throat so badly that I vomit (TMI?). So…light garlic for me🙁
@Londy3 I use to use that stuff, but it could have some bad side effects, something about destroying one’s liver or kidneys? I try not to use any medications, if possible, including OTC stuff.
Pepcid AC, Just a histamine blocker, but very effective if taken 1 hour before eating and very safe, been on it (famotidine) for 22 years, Generic versions suck.
And because its a histamine blocker and histamines are directly tied to inflammation / pain, your minor aches and pains disappear.
Sort of saved my life post legionnaires disease /Legionella , the antibiotics saved me but killed my microbiome.
@Londy3 So it comes in 10Mg dose which is considered standard and works for most, Costco and a few of the bigger marketeers sell it in 20 Mg tabes as extra strength.
Start / stay at 10 mg unless you determine you need more, you are allowed to consume a Max of 40 Mg per day.
@Londy3 To further @mapletop ‘s point, my wife has a condition where her histamine levels run high and certain foods, stress, and other conditions can over fill her bodies “histamine tank” so to speak causing hives and other allergic symptoms and she uses Pepcid AC daily to keep things in check. Anecdotally she almost never has “heartburn” or acid reflux
Ok boys, the mothers day dinner. Smoked pork shoulder Fresh veggies with fresh herbs from the garden Homemade mac-n-cheese, three bricks of Vermont white cheddar, smoked on the grill! Country green beans with caramelized garlic. Paired with a great Pinot noir, with HH dark fired while we slow smoke for 6.5 hours.

Green horizontal stripes on white for paper, black ribbon for the ink.
Almost sounds like a dinner salad with black olives...
Not when you got to the last few cases of paper and the fleas were having your legs for lunch!
Broccoli Quiche with a cup of coffee made with freshly roasted beans. To be followed by GLP Kensington in an MM Rob Roy.
O nice
With HH Bold Kentucky and a good IPA.

Interesting. I will give it a try. Is it something you can take daily or just as needed?
