One of my clients has boneless ribeyes on sell for $6.99 lb. so I picked up a couple for the grill. Smoked a bowl of Windjammer before I put these over the fire.

Only tangentially related. Has pipe smoking ever helped you like something flavor wise. I went back to a bottle of Laphroaig 10 I bought and didn’t love and since pipe smoking I can appreciate it more. Still not my favorite scotch but it’s better.
For my appetizer/dessert smoke I loaded a Pride with GH DVC, it pairs well with a Mimosa! And didn't destroy my taste buds for
Dinner reservations for our 20th anniversary were canceled due to a lack of staff so I sprang for lobs, the Prosecco for Mimosas and Red Moscato for desert!

It only takes me about 4 hours to do those beans but they are worth it.
I would say…nope….only made things taste worse/bland for me. Scotch is like Latakia 😖🤢
