So far this morning I finished last night's Peterson Deluxe Navy Roll slice loaded in an MM Morgan and now I'm on to GH Balkan Mixture in an MM Diplomat. A hot cup of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee is making the dank, drizzly morning a bit more tolerable!
Two bowls of C&D “Espresso” last night. This morning, a bowl of Pease “Jack Knife Plug” with a Yirgacheffe Flat White and a toasted buttered bagel with cinnamon and sugar.
1st bowl in a week. Taking baby steps (figuratively speaking) with my sister after her stroke. In the mean time, my son in law's dad died Thursday, so we're also trying to help and do what we can for them. What a week! Anyway, finally getting a little time to myself and taking advantage by doing some Lane LL7 in one of those Paronellis I reworked. I must say, it is a very cool smoking pipe...
@Londy3 - I’m also ready for Spring, but we had an opportunity to go to the family cabin in Red River, NM with our youngest. So we jumped on it. Unfortunately, Oklahoma and Texas have Spring Break the same week this year = long lines on the slopes!
I just finished roasting some Columbian Supremo coffee. Now it's time to sit and enjoy my cup of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe with the rest of the GH Balkan Mixture that I started earlier this morning.
After enjoying the last of the Dunhill Flake I decided to stay with the Virginia blends. First I crumbled up a Peterson Deluxe Navy Roll coin and then GH DVC, both in fresh well rested MM Morgans.
I had to see what the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee was all about. Brewed a pot and am having some Merde de Cheval in my Butz-Choquin Artois. I like the coffee! Pairs well with the “ Horse shit tobacco”.
While I was at the St.Louis pipe show on the Friday evening, we were hanging out in the clubs lounge on the third floor shooting the bull and one of the members broke out a can of an English blend that had to be at least 50 years old. (price tag was $3.15)
He was quite generous with it and offered to give me some to take home, which I of course excepted with much gratitude. So that is what I am smoking this morning in a Savalini dry system bent Dublin

Beautiful pipe. It is good to hear from you. I wish I could shoulder some of your load, My prayers are all I can offer.
Sad to hear of your family's loss, thoughts and prayers are with you!
Just finishing the tin of 2011 Dunhill Flake.
And sure you had the luck of the Irish with you that day!
