Loaded the Al Pacia Curvy 02 reverse calabash with some C&D “Espresso”. This tobacco seems to be a reoccurring “go to” for me. In the background, I have my MM “travel puck” loaded with some , and I am pressing it with a clamp to get as much tobacco in it as possible, a kind of “crumble cake”. The “juice” topping (whatever it is) is just running over the sides. As I have said before, this is the wettest tobacco I have ever smoked, and it still smokes to a dry ash, how that happens I don’t know🤔
Just popped the seal on another rare blend, or at least something I've never seen until finding it on watchcitycigars.com - Nording Seaweed. From what I've read it's supposed to be topped with caramel and cream but I personally found it reminiscent of Nording Labrador (Hunter Series) which was caramel and nuts.
I may have to keep an eye out for more of it when I make my next order.
Finally relaxing after my yearly physical, putting the new mattress on the bed, and, going to the farm down the street to get a beef brisket to corn for St. Patrick's Day! I'm smoking Dunhill London Mixture in an MM Kingston Judge along with a cup of Tanzanian Peaberry coffee.
Loaded the Pete Barrel with some Peterson “Irish Whiskey” and a rocks glass with some Rabbit Hole Bourbon in honor of @opipeman’s Birthday. Felix was trying to get down the rabbit hole, the little monkey.
@RockyMountainBriar I had a cat that looked alot like yours. If he saw a drink or snack in mine or my wife's hand he'd jump on the couch, sit beside whoever and gently pull the hand toward his nose for a sniff and maybe a taste!
I’m glad I used a smaller pipe for the Peterson “Irish Whiskey”, it’s a little strong, like I remember. I can feel the vitamin-N sneaking up on me. What a wuss I am.
@Balisong That’s exactly what Felix does. If I leave my Yeti for any amount of time…or really any drink, he likes to either pull it towards him, or push it off the table. I try to remember to close the “sippy lid” he’s dumped it on the floor many times. Had that Harely Rocks glass been something with a narrower bottom, he would have dumped it this time too. The little monkey. Gotta love cats and their personalities. My previous little buddy Scrat didn’t cause me as much consternation, but cats will be cats🙂. R.I.P. Scrat😢
Found a tin of Capstan Blue I bought in 2017. Enjoying a bowl at my new favorite hangout, Whiskey & Ashe - a whiskey and cigar bar that allows pipe smokers. The sign on the door says no cigarettes or vaping devices.
Done with errands for the day! I'm finishing the MM Morgan filled with GH DVC that accompanied me to the Town Hall, dump and Liquor Store. The snow just started, I think it's time for Balkan Mixture and Sweet Vermouth with Sparkling Water!
When I bought my pipe from @Corey562, he graciously included a tin of Bengal Slices Single Barrel in the package. I'm using that to break in the new pipe.
I don't remember ever smoking Bengal Slices (English blend) but found the Single Barrel edition (aromatic) to be a good smoke. It reminds me of something I've smoked in the past but haven't figured out what yet. Some people say Bengal Slices is similar to SPC's Plum Pudding. I'm actually thinking it reminds me more of Penzance.

I know but trying to be careful

read it again. It’s Whiskey & Ashe.
Thanks. It smokes well. I acquired it from a friend John Clark at Grove Pipe and Tobacco.

Loaded up my Savinelli Estella Chimney with some Prince Albert. I could smoke PA all day long and in this pipe it is almost possible.
Nice Sav!
