I just finished a Bones 1/4 bent pot shape filled with Nording Labrador Retriever sitting on my porch with a Kitty on my lap, very enjoyable smoke and company.
My grandmother made gravy every Saturday after dinner. We'd have macaroni for Sunday first course usually followed by a roast and then for supper on Thursday. Thanks for the memories!
Doing a little leatherwork and smoking some Vauen “Black Pepper” in one of my “unicorn” pipes that I bagged last week. A Peterson 55 Liverpool.P.S. I did not make the Peterson branded pipe strap. I paid real money for it🙂
@Londy3 My grandmother fried homemade meatballs, Italian sausage and braciole in garlic, onion and olive oil. Occasionally she'd add in a pigs foot but you had to fight my grandfather for a taste. Thanks for the memories!
@Balisong Same here buddy. Since we only had one big meal on Sunday, we had the meatballs as a snack with some fresh Italian bread and hot peppers. Mmm best samitch ever.
I made some “biscuit burger bombs” and an apple Galette for my mom and myself last night at her house. (She is having difficulty using the microwave/stove/oven). I have about half of the burger mixture/filling left over stashed in the freezer. I am going to use it to make an elbow macaroni “American goulash” for our dinner next weekend. I’ll broil some buttered bread with a nice thick layer of Parmesan to pair with it. Maybe a simple lettuce salad too.
@mapletop I love it here. I've been coming here all my life; I grew up in Virginia Beach but have spent far more time here than there--lived in Nags Head for several years in my late teens and in a small place called Grandy, NC just across the Currituck bridge in my early 20's. Back then it was all about surfing and surf fishing, but nowadays, I couldn't make it out past the breakers on a board if I wanted to because I'm old and fat so now its all about the fishing!
@Londy3 I wanted the lighting for the picture to really shine…..not!😬
It is to keep the leather dye off of the table. I neglected to use rubber gloves when staining and conditioning the leather…now my fingers look like I smoke 100+ cigarettes a day😳…..and I don’t smoke cigarettes at all😖
@KA9FFJ; There you go playing golf again! I had a shot in my Pelvic Joint last Friday and didn't feel any change until today. This has been the first day I haven't had low back pain in five years. If this shot lasts for awhile, maybe I'll be able to swing a club again.

Yep, we had it on Sunday and Thursday as well. The best stuff ever.

I went to Navy Gunnery School at Dam Neck Va. just south of Virginia Beach and east of Oceana Naval Air Station......
Ooooo.... Looks good man. But what's with the tin foil?

Let us know how it goes. Some Sutliff blends never dry out.........
I am not impressed with this one. I’m only smoking it because it’s not bad enough to warrant the compostvv
Wow, you're still fishin' 🦈
Beautiful day...
