Doing some Lane BCA in a Paronelli squashed tomato while trying to figure out how I'm going to complete a project I'm working on... (on which I'm working - @motie2 )
After a few minor indoor house projects completed, I'm relaxing with some CAO Moontrance in a reworked and refurbed Willard. Then I start some preliminary garden work..
Tnx @opipeman The previous owner was a pipe knocker. He had all around the side of the rim and part of the stem beaten to the point that the only solution was to rusticate those areas. Just about anything I did would have looked better IMHO...
Took this picture before the TPL virtual chat. Enjoying some Bagpiper's Dream/C&D's Epiphany in my Tom Howard Oom Paul. Got to the chat a few minutes later than I wanted, but you just can't pass up a good sunset.
Snagged some Rattray’s Exotic Passion on Smoking Pipes last week. Really interesting orange aromatic. I like it.
@PappyJoe - I know you’ve tried this blend. What are your thoughts? Also, how long did you leave it before you jarred it up? (It doesn’t come vacuum sealed like other tins.)
I noticed that the Rattray’s “Exotic Orange” at SP.C is not sold out yet. In the past it was always sold out in a few hours, at the very least a day. It has been in-stock for several days this time. I actually made an order of tobacco and did not include any this time, I hope it was not a mistake.
This beautiful evening in the neighborhood I am smoking some C&D “Bayou Morning”, drinking some iced tea, giving my Diamond Willow hiking/walking stick a light sanding and listening to some Blues on XM. I don’t want it perfectly smooth, just de-fuzzed and de-splintered, I want it to keep its’ hand carved look.
The Rum Raisin was good.....no overwhelming taste of Rum or Raisins, but a nice mellow and sweet smoke. What amazed me was the length of time it took to smoke it.

Cheers!
Ghosts like a mollyfrocker, but a sweet English smoke. Latakia done right.
I just received my tin too. I usually jar mine in a day or two. I buy a tin every chance I get.
Salute boys!
@RockyMountainBriar Absolutely beautiful walking stick. That would fit right in for an adventure in the Shire.
