May have to stick with Tobaccopipes for awhile, lot closer to me. My only complaint about this business is about Sutliff bulk. They only come in pouches, 1.75 and they charge more for less, of course the Sutliff tins are reasonable. So I usually stick with Lane Limited blends which come in bulk.
Can't tell you what I'm smoking. It's in the experimental blending stage, and it may wind up being the next big thing to hit the market...😏 Meanwhile, I'm enjoying it in a Smokers Haven rusticated bent.
Doing some Peterson Irish Dew in a reworked refurbed noname bent while waiting for the stain to dry so I can polyurethane it. Although it is pipe related, it is not another pipe rack. I will be posting it on the proper thread shortly...
Having some Boswell’s Northwoods this afternoon.... But it’s not your ordinary Northwoods. I soaked a piece of barrel stave for several days in Bulleit bourbon and then added it to a jar of Northwoods. Let it blend for a little over a week. I have to say I’m very pleased. It’s the closest I’ve gotten to Frog Morton’s Cellar.
So my soon to be brother in law and I have known each other a long time. He was my shifts dispatcher for several years before he moved to county dispatch. I got him into smoking a pipe and gave him one of mine to start. He enjoyed it so much I bought him a new Morgan Bones when I ordered mine. It came in today and we are enjoying some Chelsea Morning. My sister just happened to snap a pic.
You will find those Bones to be decent smokers......for some reason mine took awhile to break in. I have the "fat author" shape and he IS coming around. I have my eyes out for another when I see the FA is back, or I see a shape that strikes me.
My SIL, a Sgt. in Atlantic City is assigned in charge of the new 'walk up" Corona Flu Testing Site. I just got him a tin of the Old Shenandoah "Drunken Cherry" and grabbed him some other blends from my cellar, and a handful of my cigars......I hope he stays healthy here.
Great supper (tnx SWMBO), dishes washed, dried and put away (my job). Now finishing out the day with some 50/50 Creme Brulee/Caramello J-2 in a smooth meer full bent...
Finished fixing up this great GBD Canadian I picked up off off ebay for $20. I normally don't luck into these kind of deals, and this pipe is absolutely fantastic. Only needed a bit of cleaning to get to smoking. It has a few dings around the bowl from aggressive bowl banging, but they only add to the character to me. It's a good companion (along with OJK) for my journey into studying the Civil War.
Got the last remaining bits of tobacco from my tin of Lane Limited "Wild Hare" ... which only filled my bowl halfway ... then topped it off with Captain Black "Red Sky" for a delightful smoke. Smoked it in my black Molina pipe.

So my tobacco might not have gotten a ride to Western Pennsylvania?
Hope you had a decent day...
No, it probably did travel there, but for no good reason available to us. I’ve had this happen to my orders.

I did the same, but with rum. I had an equally satisfactory experience.
Doing some VG Cherry Cavendish in a MM Emerald.
Tonight....
I'm smoking some Mark Twain in my Rossi Rubino bent along with some Pinot Grigio. Fantastic evening here in the great state of NC.
I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. Cheers y'all.
