I forgot to mention, the two new HIS Italian bent Brier pipes I posted here I picked up at our new B&M....for $5 each. You can find these at P& C for $39 ea. Nice pre-Christmas deal for myself 😁
Doing a stacked bowl this morning. Top layer is Sutliff Black Cherry, second layer is Lane RLP-6, bottom layer is Sutliff Dulce de Leche. Using a reworked and refurbed St. Clair with a 2" bowl and an extended stem... Should be fun...
@Londy3. Yes. It looked like a "throw-away pipe" until I stripped, cleaned and restained it... Not to mention the stem! It looked really nasty. All sterilized now...
@jim102864 If you like dark fired tobacco, there's a very interesting video on fired tobacco I viewed a while back. Mostly based out of Cadiz ( pronounced Ka' deez) and Princeton KY. Problem is I can't remember the site where I viewed it...😲 Someone else here can probably steer you in the right direction... I think I was turned on to it by @PappyJoe, but I could be wrong...
Shared a bowl of hunting creek from the country squire with a friend, we both thoroughly enjoyed it! I smoked an Erik stokkebye 4th gen bent apple, he smoked a briarworks bull moose
About to have some Wilshire with my coffee. Then it'll be time to pack for a trip up to Rock Hill and Charlotte to have our Christmas get together with family and friends.
I succumbed last week to a P&C W.O. Larsen offer. I am currently breaking in my Larsen 2016 Limited Edition - a quarter bent, saddle bit brandy - with LL RR. This pipe has smoked quite well from the get-go.

I have a very dear friend in Oregon. Where are you located, if I may inquire?
Well, other than the large rock, and I am SURE much lower taxes and cost of living, could just as well be the south Jersey shore........
Damn but you take a fine portrait!!!!!
