@KA9FFJ; I agree primarily due to my recent first hand experience with gravity. On 2/12 I had a low blood sugar incident and passed out near my front stoop. It was 5 degrees outside and my wife was still asleep. As luck would have it my neighbors across the street saw me go down and called the paramedics. I woke up in the back of the squad with an IV in my arm. My blood sugar was 56. Sure and begorra the luck of the Irish was with me that day.
Damn dude, glad you're okay! A glucose score of 56 is definitely not a good thing. My old man's used to drop like that sometimes...scared the hell out of everyone every time it did.
And I agree, gravity does suck! My balls hang twice as low as they used to!🤣
@vtgrad2003; That is funny. I guess mine do as well, but don't know how to gauge that. As for my fall, I did have some major bruising on my right buttock and my right arm. I had some abrasions on my right forearm and now have a bone chip in my right elbow. Luckily I didn't hit my head and I didn't spill my diet coke. I've been on insulin for a couple of years, but never experienced low blood sugar so didn't understand what was happening. I remember thinking as I drove down my street, I'm I dying, is this what dying feels like? I refused transport. I was sore for several days, but now all is back to my normal. I appreciate the concern, Brother.
@opipeman A co-worker and myself found an older woman behind the wheel of her car that has just went off of the road and crashed (lightly and at low speed) into a wooden fence just off of the barrow pit. She looked and acted drunk as hell. Luckily the co-worker was familiar with a diabetic seizure because there was another diabetic co-worker that was not very good at managing his blood sugar and so he recognized her condition from previous experiences with the other co-worker (I had not worked with the diabetic co-worker, or any other diabetic for that matter, much at that point so I did not know). We were close to the shop, so he phoned the diabetic co-worker and he brought over a soft drink for her. It did help her some. The ambulance arrived and the paramedic tested her blood sugar, it was so low that they were surprised she made it. The soft drink may have saved her? We found out later that her family had been looking for her for several hours. She apparently blacked out as to what she was doing or where she was at some time before and was just driving around until she blacked out unconscious😳
@RockyMountainBriar; The luck of the Irish and @RockyMountainBriar was with that lady that day. It does appear very much like over indulgence in spirits. My neighbors said as I walked from my truck to my door step I was staggering. I don't remember any of that. Well done, Brother.
Well, it's been decided... When the wife and/or I are given 3 - 6 months to live, we're going to tell the kids goodbye, adios, adieu, and go out with a bang... 😏
I know quite a few people that have been on those world cruises and they loved them; just make sure you plan for tons of spending money. The ports-of-call are usually somewhat brief, so when you get to one, you'll want to eat and drink there before getting back on the boat as well as knick-knacks to send home, etc.
@KA9FFJ I've been on one of those. Left Seattle, visited San Diego, Honolulu, Auckland and Christchurch, NZ, McMurdo and Palmer Station, Antartica, Valparaiso, Chile, Callao and Lima, Peru and Mazatlan, Mexico.
The only thing I had to pay for was what I spent when on land.

Reminds me of a few pipes I've bought in eBay.
Now that's funny!
