I love Steve Hackett's music. The guy is a brilliant guitarist ... just listen to that amazing sustain on the song "Twice Around The Sun". He can make a note last forever. Hackett, the one time guitarist of genesis can be fast and technically flashy and let his fingers dance across the fretboard at laser light speed - or smooth as silk and tug at your with a singe note. Both he and Andrew Latimere of the band Camel can get more emotion for a single note than most guitarist performing today.
