@motie2, I suppose I never really gave the title of the thread the consideration I should have. If I tried to choose songs to post that match the perfect pipe smoking cadence, I would probably only be able to post a handful of videos. Also, based on how often I rest a pipe while smoking, we would need to hit the pause button on a frequent basis.
Instead of posting vids that match my pipe smoking cadence, I have just been posting what I regularly listen to on my mp3 player. After all, most days I get paid to listen to music, and avoid the occasional idiot who thinks he is ready for the NASCAR track.
@PappyJoe, Yep I know that stretch of Interstate, I almost hit an aluminum ladder one night that someone lost. Nowdays, I usually run I-20 through Shreveport when I go out to Arizona, so I don't have to worry about I-10 anymore.
@motie2 - I was stationed on Governors Island from Dec. 1985 until June 1989. Lower Manhatten was about a 5 minute ferry ride. Our first apartment on the island faced the Statue of Liberty. Worked my butt off during the Liberty Weekend Celebration in 1986 when the Statue was re-opened. We had CBS and CNN on top of the building.
@xDutchx - I tell people those aren't speed limit signs but are speed warning signs. If you don't go faster than the posted speed you will get run over.
@PappyJoe, Chattanooga is the same way. I have never seen anyone being written a ticket there, and folks regularly run up and down the mountain at 15 to 25 miles over the speed limit.
I agree, if I remember right that was Oldfield's 3rd Album. Tubular Bells was the first album Virgin Records released. People who went to see "The Exorcist" went out and bought so many copies it reached Platinum status. Richard Branson never has forgotten Mike Oldfield. He still releasing as far as I know.

@motie2, You know the drill, it's probably best for you to take your pipe outside for this one too!

@motie2, Wikipedia says that he is the founding member of the band, and the only member to remain in the lineup from start to finish.
Is it possible you can still get tickets and backstage passes?
