@motie2 Victor Yashtylov makes pipes with magnetic stems. That is really cool. His pipes are kind of expensive though, especially the ones with magnetic stems. That pipe looks like it could have a magnetic stem. I love that pipe, just not it’s price😳
I remember reading once that snakes are a relatively recently evolved bunch of species, first appearing a million or so years back. But it was a long time ago, and I don't remember if it was in a serious book or some work of fiction or parody, so I have never given it a lot of credence.

Two of my three favorite pipes (I wish I had), both by Paulo Becker. The other is a Castello. The first time I found SmokingPipes.com the top pictured Becker and the Castello Yacht caught my eye, then soon after the second pictured Becker. They were all in the $1000 range, and the top Becker and the Castello were estate pipes (both unsmoked)😳
