the 1993 Pete arrived! Here is the before and after clean up photos. It was in pretty good shape but some heavy tarnish on the ring. My first p-lip. I'll give it a test spin tonight.

The material is then applied with a special fixative (tested for more than a year of pipe smoke by me personally) and finally finished with a matt matt finish.
@motie2, I think the Morgan pipe has a short stem, it's just hard to see in that picture. On another note, I have a version of the Dunhill Cavalier above, not made by Dunhill though. It is a "Lord Renfrew".
@RockyMountainBriar I couldn't agree more. I am always impressed with the finishes on the pipes Eldritch makes. These spiked ones for Rattrays are fun.
