I’m not sure what I’m loading up tonight, but my tipple of choice this evening is Eagle Rare 10 Year Bourbon. I’ve been working on this bottle for a few years now.

Dansk Mjöd Gi Dansk Mjöd mead is a spiced honey mead made with ginger and hops (19% ABV). It almost has a ginger ale type taste but without the carbonation. It is sweet like a dessert wine. I wouldn't pair this with an aromatic blend because of the sweetness and ginger.
I'm smoking a bowl of Vauen Tradition No. 2 and it is a decent pairing. Tradition No. 2 is a non-aromatic blend of various Virginias with a touch of dark fired and perique.
Switched to rum for today. Bayou Rum Single Barrel Select Barrel Selection (I kid you not. That's what it says on the label) It's a dark, aged rum fermented using cane yeast and distilled in n American copper pot still.
Wu Liang Ye tastes like the entire Russian army is marching over your tongue, shoeless, wearing only dirty socks, with just a soupçon of gasoline. It is an acquired taste for white guys; many Asian folk adore it. A small serving lights you right up.
@Montecristo 39% ~ 78 proof 😳 I’m not sure that would be strong enough to kill a “tequila worm”. I think I would want something with a little more “antiseptic” qualities coming out of China. You’re a brave fellow😬
