@RockyMountainBriar It can be confusing. All tequila is Mezcal but to be called tequila it can only be distilled in a certain region of Mexico. Tequila must also be made of 100% blue agave. Mezcal can be made from different types of agave but it still must be 100% agave.
Went bar hopping with some of me fire crew years ago. We had a great time until a couple of me lads started doing Tequila shots. I've never seen wilder eyes on anyone like that in me life. I had to break up a fight between one of me boys and a local attorney as we left the joint. Damn, that was a good time.
Had a wonderful gathering with friends last night. Complete with bourbon, barbecue, pipes and cigars. I think I may have converted three people to pipes!
The winner last night was whistle pig 12 year rye!
We were in Johnson City, TN for the past week for our twin grandsons graduation from high school. Had the time to sit on my son's front porch and enjoy a bowl or two with him along with some good rum, whiskey and mezcal. Since the Tobacco Road pipe & cigar shop closed down, we weren't able to see what they had.
I did find this bottle though, Chattanooga Whiskey Founder’s 11th Anniversary Blend. It's pretty smooth for a 100 proof sipping whiskey.
I made a discovery. After 3 years my single cup coffee machine died. The replacement comes with the iced coffee feature so I decided to try it out. Guess what? Black unflavored iced coffee with a shot of Tennessee whiskey is pretty good.
Well to this old southern boy, we call it black coffee over ice with a shot of whiskey. LOL Now, I'm going to have to look for some of those "brew over ice" coffees.
Smoking a bowl of Caribbean Blue Graham while having an iced coffee sweetened with rum. Still trying to figure out the iced coffee thing. Found some brew over ice k-cups while at the store and made an iced coffee with one. The different between using a regular coffee and a "brew over ice" one is about the same as the difference between Captain Black original and G&H Dark Flake. I've seen used motor oil clearer than that coffee.
@PappyJoe Cold brew coffee makes the best iced coffee, very, very smooth, no bitterness. It’s kinda like the difference between hot brewed tea left to cool then poured over ice and using “Sun Tea” over ice. “Sun Tea” is much smoother.

No. Mezcal. And it is really smooth.

How do you pack Kabobs into your pipe?
