Now break them down into Scotch Highland/Lowland Whisky, Irish Whiskey, Bourbon Whiskey, Canadian Whiskey, and difference’s start to emerge in what grain or combination of grain’s they are made with, how they are malted, and how they are barreled and treated in storage/aging.
@RockyMountainBriar, @motie2, yes I think the distiller is real, saw a news article, if you want to call it that, on Marketwatch.com. Supposedly they cook some venison, after putting the usual seasonings in it, and then soak it with whiskey, and then re-distill the whiskey. I guess it picks up some of the venison flavorings. I'm not a big whiskey guy, more a beer drinker, but I might take a shot of this just to try it.
The worst tasting alcohol I’ve ever tasted was Wu Liang Ye liquor, made from sorghum. Tastes like the Turkish army is marching barefoot over your tongue, with just a soupçon of gasoline.
Had some Budweiser this evening. Haven’t smoked my pipe in awhile. Just got over the Rona. It was not fun. On the mend and hopefully have a bowl this week. Cheers!
@motie2 When I lived in a colder climate, I enjoyed Drambuie. I will still sip it occasionally, but I just enjoy it more sitting in front of a fire on a cold winter night.
@PappyJoe Couldn't help noticing the post Christmas adjustment to the beard length, I'd caption this as kids still follow after incognito Santa because he smells like cookies.

“Four fingers?”

Four fingers is just a double 😁
Londy3 is right, a double isn't macho, it just helps the recovery process!

Two things:
1) is it.... uh ... gamey?
2) Can someone explain the difference between whisky and whiskey? And not 'spelling'.....
Countries of origin, Whisky for Scotland, Canada, Japan. Whiskey for United States and Ireland.
I don’t like venison, so that stuff would not be too high on my list of boozes to try. However, if offered, I would give it a taste.
After thinking it over and working through my following post. Nope, not trying it.
Ok, is that distiller real? They have “Corpse Flower” and “Eu de Musc” whiskey’s too.
Corpse Flower = Smell/Taste? of death/rotting flesh in a bottle.
Eu de Musc = Beaver scent glands in a bottle?
Sounds like one disturbed creepy assed distiller. Probably a serial killer getting rid of the dead bodies in their hootch.

Well, I tried Chinese Snake wine and it didn’t kill me. How bad could venison be?
Synthetic Alcohol Promises to Make Drinking Safer. But Experts Are Wary
https://time.com/6131012/synthetic-alcohol-health-benefits/Glad to hear of someone with a happy outcome. May you enjoy continued healing.
Some of the arguments for synthetic alcohol in the article are very similar to the argument used for legalizing marijuana.
My father, of blessed memory, was fond of the phrase, “Choose your poison.”

Yep. My annual major beard trim has been accomplished. I’ll do a light trim occasionally for shaping.
I almost didn't recognize you! Almost welcomed you to the forum.
