@buflosab I'm not too crazy about Sutliff Irish Cream by itself but it's nice for blending, which is why I use it in my Mrs. Hudson's 221B Bakery Blend. I use it sparingly like a condiment - like adding a little salt and pepper to a steak. On it's own it's one of the few Sutliff aromatics that can give you tongue bite if you're not careful.
Leigh Aromatic Just opened up Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic, have not had any in years. Pretty good but I feel some kind of a mixture taking place. Not sure what though.
If I should disappear from the forum, it's because my hard drive is dying ("spinning beachball of death" -- it's a MAC thing, slow loading, aborted loading, freezing, booting fails, took me three tries to sign in to TPL, no email connectivity, yada, yada, yada.)
I still have a working iPad, and I'll do what I can. Maybe buying a new 'puter on this Black Friday.
Today I'm enjoying gifts from friends - even more reasons to be Thankful during the holiday season. I'm smoking Tobacco Galleria's "Montego Bay", a golden Virginia and white burley topped with New England and Jamaican Rum, a tasty five year old blend sent to me from @Woodsman Frank. And I'm smoking it in a beautiful little Bamboo Blast from another generous member of The Pipeline @xDutcuhx# Chris. What a great little smoker. My first bamboo pipe. I'll be pulling the camera out soon for some snapshots of my latest acquisitions.
Smoking some Peterson Holiday Season 2012 mixture in a Peterson Kinsale bulldog. Very aromatic blend of Virginias and cavendishs, but has some bite. Smells like baked apples and caramel and hints of pine. Nice holiday smoke but in moderation.
@Woodsman When Peterson made the Kildare did they also have a Ben Casey in the series? I must have missed the Peterson Famous TV Doctors series. Beautiful pipe ... is it one with the special Peterson system ... I see the P-Lip and thought all pipes with the P-Lip were part of the Peterson System line.
Remember both series,Doc Kildare with Richard Chamberlin and Ben Casey with Vince Edwards.Think I liked Ben Casey better. Not sure about the pipe situation regarding Ben Casey.
@jfreedy, here's the link where I purchased that cob. Right now he seems to have a good selection of pipes available, in nosewarmers, as well as standard lengths.
