Smoking some of my leftovers hodgepodge in my own handmade Liverpool. I thinned the bit a little, it was tough on the jaws before, it’s much more comfortable now🙂
Just finished storm prep. Took down the canopy, turned over the tables and brought the potential projectiles inside. The birds and rabbits have enough food and water and the ducks should have a ball! Now it's time for some London Mixture in an MM Diplomat with a cup of Ethiopian Sidamo coffee.
@Londy3 As codger blends go, Carter Hall is pretty good. Nuts, Cocoa, and maybe a touch of bourbon in the casing. Sip it, don't gulp, or it will start tasting like a cigarette. It's not in my rotation, but I get why people like it!
Had Vanilla Custard, also Boswell Pennsylvanian Dutch Treat, anyone tried any of the Cascadia Blends? Their plastered all over this months P&C catalog.
Smoking a bowl of Rattray's Bagpiper's Dream and sipping a glass of Salignac Cognac. It's close to a perfect pairing with the Salignac bringing out the cognac in the Bagpiper's dream.
I followed that with a bowl of Jolly Joker and a glass of Bumbu rum. Wasn't sure how the almond, nuts & vanilla of the Jolly Joker would work with something more like a rum based spirit than an actual rum. I say that because while it is sold as "rum" it is only 35% ABV or 70 proof and instead of the traditional rum flavor I expect out of a good rum, it's more like a spiced rum in my opinion. That being said, Bumbu at 70 proof, is a very nice sipping dram. The banana/toffee flavor is at the front and accents the almond & vanilla topping in Jolly Joker.

Lookin' good buddy...
Ah, yes, a decent attempt at a non-bitey cherry blend!
