Smoking some Planta Limited Edition 2015 “Brazilian Mixture” in an old Peterson Deluxe 268 out on the patio this evening. We had a small storm move through and it dropped the temperature nicely. There is a fair breeze. I’m needing to keep my pipe shielded from overheating. I don’t feel like going inside and getting a windcap though. I have some Soda Stream lime flavored seltzer to pair with the lime tobacco.
Once again, for newcomers, and for any aromatic smoker who hasn't tried it....
Mrs. Hudson’s 221B Bakery Street Blend is made from Sutliff bulk tobaccos, sold by the ounce, and blended together as follows:
Three parts (or 3 oz.) Sutliff Vanilla Custard
Two parts (or 2 oz.) Sutliff Chocolate Mousse
One part (or 1 oz.) Sutliff Crème Brulee
Some folks substitute one part (or 1 oz.) Sutliff Private Stock Molto Dolce (tin) for the very similar Creme Brûlée.
Historical note: The original recipe called for “….a pinch or two of Sutliff Irish Creme.” @Ghostsofpompeii confirms it may be omitted without harming the blend.
Smoking Trout Stream, just finished spending an evening with Flat Cap Piper and Lady Fire Piper on YouTube. They have a nice show called “Popping” the Tin
Didn’t get to smoke yesterday. Thursday night I didn’t take lactose pills and had pizza. Friday was not a good day. Feeling better today and smoking “Morning on the Pizer” with coffee to pair.
My first official Peterson. Just arrived yesterday. It's one of the Peterson Atlantic pipes. Giving her an inaugural run with some Peterson Irish Cask.
@Londy3 Question? A clarification for myself. Is it still two fingers of bourbon if I am drinking it out of a 5 gallon bucket? The bucket is red, a.k.a. Montana Solo Cup.😬
@KA9FFJ; Given you are searching for an Acoustic, I am going to offer my opinion(Even though you haven't asked). Keeping in mind that I am only in my third year of lessons. Like pipes you can't judge guitars by their price or their maker. To me it is how easy is it to play(the feel) and their tone including sustain. I have a Jasmine used (beginner), all things considered it has great tone. I wouldn't trade it for an expensive big name brand. It only has to please me. My 2 cents for what it is worth!

Thank you for the link.
Love that pipe...
May the Lord bless you, and keep you….
Didn't know you played..
Some LL7 in my Rossie Rubino and two fingers of bourbon.
Then, a second bowl a little later on, of Seattle pipe club, plumb pudding, bourbon barrel aged in my Friday Savinelli while sipping some tea.
