@PappyJoe We'll be getting your rain up here in St. Louis all day Tuesday.
Relaxing with some Lane BCA in a reworked Darby after finishing most of the preliminary work on a 5 pipe rack using more scrap wood. I'll post a couple of pics on the "Storage" thread...
Tonight.... Dual bowls. The first Peter Stokkebye Luxury English and second the famous LL7 in my referb gift from @KA9FFJ. I really like this pipe a ton! Thank you again sir.
Currently smoking my Neerup Acorn with C&D's Morley's Best. Also posted the latest entry for my pipe blog, a guide for new pipe smokers on what to do next after starting the hobby.
Had a bowl of Captain Black Classic in a Dr Grabow Grand Duke billiard. The weather has finally warmed up and cleared off. I've got eight days of not having to deal with the retail crazies. The Captain Black tastes surprisingly good when you have the time to sit and savor it.
@jfreedy it is some smooth stuff. I actually divided it all up and sent some to 3 of my pipe smoking buddies, and kept the last bit for myself. Now I wish I had some more as well!
Smoking my Briar Cigar loaded with some Five Brother’s mixed with a bit (15%?) of the end of my Kajun Kake. I thought I would disguise the Briar Cigar with one of my favorite, aesthetically pleasing cigar bands. I just used a thin amount of rubber cement so I can remove it easily. Shh, I hope Chris Morgan does not see it and get pissed😳. I made a new bit awhile back to make it blend in more like the body of the cigar/pipe too.
Had some Boswell Maple Leaf, still experimenting with the Boswell blends, haven’t really had any bad blends, two that stand out are Boswells Best and Bear Blend. s
Enjoying some Sutliff 515 rc-1 in my MM Emerald cob. This has been aging in a jar for about a year. It’s just a great, simple summer blend... especially if you liked McClelland’s 5100.
