Sometimes you need comfortable food like chicken strips and French fries and sometimes you need some Captain Black Classic in a Dr Grabow Omega. O just opened a fresh pouch and it is tasting really good.
Doing the last of my Jamaican Export in a little noname apple. IMHO, this blend, along with its sister, Tropical Export from villiger, was underrated. I was given many long hours of enjoyment from these blends, and will try to pick up some more in the near future.
Partaking in some String Duster by C&D in an EA Carey magic inch. Virginia and Turkish leaf mixed in the perfect proportion and balanced for a nice flavor.
I opened a tin of SPC Hood Canal that I've had cellared since its debut last year. I've had several bowls in a MM and a Carey. I must say, it's a very tasty and well balanced Balkan. I'll be adding more of it, and Wild Man, to my cellar soon.
Currently smoking some Thanksgiving Kake in my Savinelli Impero. Had to break out the heater tonight for the first time this season, as we're getting into freezing temperature territory.
@jfreedy - Yes it is and I have my pre-Christmas wardrobe of red shirts and Christmas hats about ready to start. I even have two Christmas presents wrapped already.
Now that the weather has turned cooler I decided to break in my new wizard cobbit with a bowl of Carter Hall. The Carter Hall was working well with the crisp fall day.
I'm smoking some Borkum Riff in a Missouri Meerschaum country gentleman.I had Swedish meatballs for supper so it seemed appropriate.
Enjoying a bowl of GLP's Jackknife Plug in my old Country Gentleman Cob. So far this one is working out for me better than the last tin. Here's hoping the blight bogies don't get their moldy hands on it.
I'm taking it back to where I started tonight. I'm sipping my way though a bowl of Prince Albert in a Dr Grabow Grand Duke. Of is really feeling like fall. The temperature was 40 degrees this morning. I've already lit the wood stove. It is a clear night and the thermometer is going to drop like a stone.
Enjoyed a bowl of Sutliff Vanilla Custard in my Rattray Brownie Billiard. Discovered Panna Catta last month and read somewhere on here that the Vanilla Custard was virtually the same. I think that is correct - at least as far as my "apprentice" level taste buds can tell!

Indeed, for those of you that have not seen it.....that is snow

Also, I take it you’re a Rush fan.
Great time and great scenery...
