I wish my taste buds were better. Most all the aromatics I have tried taste about the same to me. Has anyone else find they have the same in smoking aros. However I do enjoy the aromatics
Boswell Cupcake and some Black Raspberry mixed with Vanilla Custard. Put an order in P&C for some Panna Cotta, saw @motie2 has done this so I wanted to try it. Just about to hit checkout and saw the red letters back ordered, maybe next time.
Helped the SWMBO put up the Fall and Halloween decorations today, so I decided to break out an orange and black Tinderbox pipe for the occasion. Doing some Sutliff Black Cherry with Lane BCA (50/50)... Really quite good...
Vanilla Fudge (bulk) from King Street Emporium in a Dr Grabow Grand Duke billiard. I needed a break from latakia so I so I pulled out this Virginia Cavendish Blend cased with chocolate and a hint of vanilla. I had to get in my smoke between some much needed rain showers.
@Londy3 It turned out great. It even had the texture of a custard rather than pudding, strange, but it was just what I wanted. I think it had a bit too much sugar for me, if I make it again I think I will reduce the amount of sugar that was called for in the recipe. I think it could have used a bit more coffee liqueur, but I did not want to go overboard and ruin it. It did “hit the spot”👍🏻
I used a mixture of brown and white sugar for the top. The brown sugar wanted to burn before it caramelized when using the butane torch. The next time I make it, I will only use white sugar. Also, since this one has been refrigerated overnight, the hard sugar crust dissolved into a thin caramel. Yep, still tasty. Now for “second desert”....maybe some Rattray’s “Exotic Orange”
@motie2 It's because I didn't edit the picture. When I switch the camera to point at me the image reverses. I usually run it through the photo editor but I forgot
Sorry @RockyMountainBriar Looks as if it's time to break out the "alternative smoking venues". Mine is the garage with a small window fan and a space heater...
@KA9FFJ Ha, lucky for me my garage is pretty large and detached, also no windows. It has a tall ceiling and I can use a propane patio heater, nice and quiet.....or my little “jet” heater, it’s too darn loud unless it’s really cold out though.
Sitting down with some "hot off the press" C&D Warped "The Haunting". It is a cigar leaf and Virginia blend. Good so far. I think this will be even better with a year or two in the jar. It has a kick, but it is not too scary.

I taste a wide range of flavors in aromatics. There are a lot of aromatics that are very very similar though.

I really hate the cleanup though.
Yeah me too. But I made a deal with my wife, if I cook shes the prep/clean up 😆
Well, that worked.....
I'm sitting out under the shade tree enjoying the cool weather with a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in a Missouri Meerschaum hardwood.
Howcum pic is reversed?

It's been a busy day.
Some Peter Stokkebye Luxury English blend in my blue Molina on a wonderful evening.
