And for part II I made chicken marsala for my lovely Bride on her birthday week. Served with country greens, with skin on mashers, fresh Italian bread and a cannoli for dessert.
I did a beer run to the local Food Lion. By the time I left I spent almost as much as at the tobacconist. @Londy3 that Voodoo Ranger looked so good I thought I'd give it a try. I paired it with Read Raparee in an estate pot with an enormous bowl. It was so good I went back for seconds.
To get in the Halloween spirit I'm smoking a bowl of Russ' "Candy Corn" in my Peterson Dracula pipe. I have a feeling I'll be seeing a lot of this pipe in October.
Well, I'm thinking about a pipe but was very reluctant to bring one to a VIP on the rooftop party in the park. But my thoughts were in the right place. Burning one with y'all in spirit.

The temperature hit a record high in Washington at all three airports. I'm sitting out back sipping on some Black and Gold and a cup of coffee. The Movie Channel (WDCA channel 20.2) has been running William Castle movies all day. Despite the warm weather it has been a pretty good day. It might be time to break out the Captain Black Classic. This smoke is running out of flavor.
Mixed up a batch of C&D Orient Express ( 50/50 mixture of Pirate Kake and Odessa) and smoked it in a no name bent pot while picking lettuce and cucumbers in the rain.

Interesting tasting note: Reese's peanut butter pumpkins pair well with karakia and orientals.
