Started off the day with cbc in a bent cob. I had some Sassafras in a '96 Boswell bent egg. (local b&m blend) I'm finishing the evening with some Seafarer in a straight mm. (another local blend) It's warm enough outside to sit out back with just a sweater. Spring might just be on the way.
@pipeman83 — how is the Match Edgeworth Ready Rubbed? I saw that most of the reviews on P&C were pretty good. I love Lane’s RR and have always wondered about this version. Is this Sutliff’s blend? P&C’s? The same thing?

I went to look at the website to find it from work (different e-mail)....anyway, I found the (5)pouch “kit”, added it to my cart and entered the code. It worked, I just did not purchase another. I was trying to find out if it worked that way so I could tell the friend I just “added” to a “Brother of the Briar” last weekend so he could order himself some tobaccy I have not heard if it worked for him though? You are right though, it is not directly apparent....so no marketing e-mail....no CB deal. Now, don’t you feel special? 😀
I too got the card in the mail from P&C regarding the CB Pouches. I jumped right on it and 5 pouches of assorted CB blends were in my mailbox like 3 days later. I couldn't pass them up at $1.00 a pouch. I have most of them (except Cherry) jarred already, and will top the jars off. The CB White I do smoke on occasion and will certainly tear into that as it gets warmer around here. So, I suggest everyone check this offer out even if you give them away.
@jfreedy, I thought it was pretty good after 1bowl, I’m smoking my 2nd. bowl out of my Baronet now, I like it, it’s a Sutliff blend, came in a 1lb. sealed bag, will put it in a jar, it’s worth a try at 1.70 an ounce for 16 oz.

Smoked some Peterson's "Sunset Breeze" earlier on a "Jeep Ride", and just having some of my aromatic "frankenblend" in a newly aquired and deep cleaned Middleton Apple.Not sure what has happened, but I can no longer access "The Pipeline" with my IPad😩 Which is a bunch of 💩
Orlik GoldenSliced in a Charatan Gilpin (poker). This blend is better than I remembered it but still pretty low on my Virginia list. I know so many rave about it, but it’s just not for me.
Smoking some Sutliff Sunrise Smoke in a small Dr.Grabow Lark. I am having a lot of trouble placing this smoke, its sweet, it does not smell of any foulness, but it does not taste quite like anything I have ever smoked before and has a bit of tartness on the back end of each puff. I suppose I should attribute this to its aging in tin prior to my purchase.
Did 2 bowls of Lane Vanilla Cavendish in a reworked/refurbished no-name while playing a round of golf today... 1 bowl on the front, the 2nd on the back... I shot OK, but it seems I don't care quite as much what I shoot while partaking the briar. Sure makes for a more enjoyable round...
Sutliff Crème Brûlée(aka: cheap Molto Dolce) in my rusticated Peterson system 302. I forgot how good this stuff was. I love the very low nicotine and no tongue bite.
