Great gooly moogly! It's a balmy 50 degrees in northern NJ. I sat out on the rear deck and smoked me two bowls: a 50/50 Barbados Plantation/Sunset Rum mixture and a bowl of the blessed Mrs. Hudson's. God is good.
Bell's (MacBaren) Three Nuns in a Rossi Rubino Prince. I had to try what was reportedly C.S. Lewis' favorite pipe tobacco. Gonna read some theology - L. William Countryman's "Dirt, Greed, and Sex: Sexual Ethics in the New Testament" (Minneapolis: Fortress Press, 2007).
Well, we are back to 65 degrees today so I will be having a bowl this afternoon when I make "The Sauce" (@ghostsofpompeii you know) with a glass of red.
Aahhhhhh.....my favorite thing to do on Sunday. Cook The Sauce and the traditional Italian dinner. Smokin a bent MM cob with wild hare and a red blend wine. Sooo good! I'm sitting outside right now while sauce cooks down. It's 65+ degrees. Salute!
I'm telling you @Woodsman don't bring that ash tray to my house. You'll never see it again! By the way, love that classic-lined Rhodesian. Simple-elegant...
I finally did the obvious (for me, anyway....): I mixed Barbados Plantation 50/50 with Mrs. Hudson's. It's even better than I hoped it would be.... As I sat on the rear deck, the 'outdoor room note' prompted a "What is that? It smells amazing," from a neighbor. Pipe: A refurbished Carey Harbor series billiard with amber acrylic/perspex bit/stem.
Loaded up Captain Black Royal in Cassillero 125. Just Recieved some Sutliff Black Spice and Russ Candy Corn. Thinking about mixing some Black Spice and some CBR together and see what happens. Great pix Londy, looking very sharp.
