@motie2 I'm making up for lost time. We had a stretch in January with single digit highs and -20 wind chills in Kansas. My pipe smoking was confined to my car. It's so much nicer to enjoy a bowl on the back porch!
It's kind of amazing you guys that live thru extremely colds temperatures are glad when it gets to 50 degrees and down here in Florida it's considered cold.I can relate because when it got up to 35 or 40 in Buffalo it was considered a warm up.At any rate I'm glad you guys are able to finally get outside and enjoy yourselves for a bit.Its strange down here, we can go from AC to Heat in a 24 hour period, and then back again in reverse.I guess I better shut up because I dam sure haven't gone thru the winter many of you have.
Compared to the two years I spent in North Dakota, 50 degrees in the winter is almost tropical. It never got really cold those two winters; it only got down to 40 degrees below zero.....
@Kmhartle, yeah baby! I like the old Wild Hare! It's a great one to enjoy and unwind with. It also goes good with bourbon. I think you and I are the only ones who have ever posted about it.
@Londy3 To be honest, it's the first tin of Wild Hare I bought. Popped it open last night. Even though the pipe I used is being broken in, I really enjoyed the blend! I can see this being a part of my ever growing rotation. I'll probably enjoy the next bowl of it in a more seasoned pipe..... and two fingers of bourbon!
Country Squire Bag End in my home made churchwarden. @jfreedy, you got me curious about this blend and when I retried it, it was a lot better than the first time. I will have to buy more to make sure!!
