@RockyMountainBriar, well, aside from the fact that we should have gone with her color choice on the barn (red), I can say that yes, I've paid elsewhere for many years. LOL. In just about every facet of our lives. I remember my mother, who was spoiled rotten, told me once that "in a marriage, the woman makes all the compromises." I looked at her and said, "Hey Mom, you see these bags under my eyes?" She kinda got the message.
@KA9FFJ The wife and I just started watching it on Amazon Prime and started from season 1. Wasn't sure about it at first but by the end of the first episode we decided it was better than the crap available on the cable channels right now. We are only on Season 1, episode 6.
@PappyJoe I enjoyed the series but, IMHO, they should have devoted more time to his office/informal visits with patients. I don't know how he kept a straight face through some of his scenes... Oh, and totally agree with some of the "crap on TV" comment...
@opipeman that last one reminded me, the other day I had a colonoscopy, I saw this box out on the porch as I was leaving for the Dr. I considered bringing it with me. 🤣
I was talking to a friend the other day and he was telling me about his last doctor visit. He said the doctor asked him a series of questions about his sleep habit.
1. Do you easily fall asleep when riding in a car as a passenger. 2. Do you easily fall asleep when watch TV. 3. Have you fallen asleep in a public setting like a movie theatre. 4. Do you regularly take naps in the afternoon. 5. Have you ever fallen asleep while your spouse is talking to you.
He answered each question yes and the doctor said he need to take a sleep apnea test.
I told him that there was nothing wrong with him other than he was almost 70 years old and those are common things for us to do.

Now THAT'S funny!😆
Ain't THAT the truth...
So, you paid big for the capitulation elsewhere then?

Your mom flat out lied that's another thing women are good at!!!
That was a GREAT British series we enjoyed on PBS. Doctor Martin's bedside manner (or should I say lack thereof) was hilarious...😂

That's funny. The last time I had it done I told the doctor, "If you are in there longer than 15 minutes, you'll need to sign a lease."
Two nurses in attendance laughed.
The doctor was not amused.
