The "Holy Smoke" is often called the "Doodler" by Tracy Mincser of Custom-Bilt Pipes. They were popular about 50 years or so ago. There have been a few copies of them made.
I’m a fan of Paulo Becker’s pipes, some of his son’s pipes are nice too, but he does not carve many smooth pipes, which I prefer. Here are a couple of my all time favorite pipes, especially the first one with the tapered stem. Sadly Paulo is a “Broken Pipe”🙏🏻, but his son is keeping the tradition going that his grandfather started👍🏻
@KA9FFJ, at this point, I would smoke any pipe, I haven’t had a pipe in 3 weeks, it’s to cold out here and I can’t smoke in the house or the B&M, all I can do is look at them for now.
@pipeman83 @motie2 I guess we should at least be thankful that addiction is not a problem like the cigarette smoker. I see my neighbor across the street 4-5-6 times a day standing out in all kinds of cold and miserable weather because he HAS to have that cigarette. I'm thankful, as I'm sure you are, that we have a hobby/lifestyle that doesn't enslave us... IMHO...
@thebadgerpiper I believe Scottie Piersel’s pencil shanks are lined with stainless steel tubing, if that changes your thinking🙂. I like the looks of quite a few of her pipes, but some have a bit too much of a girly-girl look to them.
Hey guys I raced bicycles in multi forms Road USCF, NORBA, DORBA and ABA. I even had a bicycle store. I lived a breathed bicycles for many years (28). I made a lot of neat things from bicycle parts like stools, switches, trinkets to lamps and so forth but I never thought about a pipe. Oh how the purist in the cycling industry and world would throw a hissy fit over that pipe. I guess after I stopped racing I was probably the only guy who owned a bike shop that kept a Gurka cigar in his shop apron. Some of my customers thought it was my right since I put the saddle time in but I did loose a few customers over it. It’s not like I ever smoked during business hours and some where gifts. It was not until I closed up shop that my wife gave me a Caminetto for a anniversary gift that I picked up the pipe. Sorry if I veered off there. If you new how the bicycle industry is or was you would understand. Anyway it’s a cool idea. I am a Campy (Italian components) guy though so maybe all Shimano shifter/brake levers should be turned into pipes? ⚓️
@motie2 That Shimano pipe... I would hope the threading system is VERY stout, or one will find themselves smoking an off centered pipe if ever overclocked...😩

Oddly enough, I rather like them, although I fear they would not do for @pipeman83.😁
I second that emotion.........

Except, of course for PAD and TAD.
Can't figure out what you are referencing, but I'll take a HaHa, it beats being Booed!
🤪
Believe me brother when I say, I'm laughing WITH you and not AT you...

Tnx to that 1st pic, I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight...😴
I wonder if the second pipe can sub for a bottle cap opener...😏

I could see how cycling purists would frown upon smoking.
