@motie2 Ok, I finally watched Bradly’s Dunhill video.......and I am jealous, and envious. I have been looking for a 1964 Dunhill (preferrably a Root Briar) that was not outrageously expensive in a shape I like, such as a straight billiard. Here, Bradly is gifted one....because he has a youtube channel? Not to mention, gifted three others. The Lucky Bastard! I keep thinking about all of the gifts and help I have given people, free of charge in my lifetime and keep wondering when it will come back my way? Hopefully it will be rewarded with more good health🙂
We were awed by all of Dominik Demon’s pipes, but his Paragraph Pipe (that we’ve unofficially dubbed The Kraken) really caught our attention. To view more of Dominik’s incredible creations, you can view his website, Instagram and Facebook pages.>>
Thought you might be interested in his follow up comments about the charms of old Dunhill pipes, the differences with more recent Dunhills, and possible stand ins for Dunhills, like Costellos..... still far outside my $20.00 pay grade.
@motie2 Ahh, I have been eyeing Castello’s, the ones I am drawn too are just too expensive, like Paulo Becker pipes. There are lots of Claudio Cavicchi pipes I like as well...still too expensive.
As a side note, The 1927 Dunhill Bruyere Lovat I have smokes well, (Ebay for less than $100 by the way-I know, still out of the $20 range). I do have a bunch of Yello-Bole’s, no-names and other “low-buck” pipes that smoke well too. I am definitely not a pipe snob, I like them all, including my E.A. Carey pipe, well almost all, there are some stinker pipes out there.
