Let's see, what am I smoking while drinking my pipe...😋
Beautiful day in NC. Had church online on this Palm Sunday, did some reading and chores around the house. Chilled with a local IPA while getting some sun 🌞.
For dinner, marinated dry rub pork chops seared and pressure cooked in the instant pot. Along with corn and baked a baked potato and nice Pinot Grigio.
For dessert, Palm Sunday Italian tradition Cavazune along with a lovely fresh ground and brewed coffee.
@Londy3 it’s probably my favorite bourbon right now. There is no burn just a warmth and very smooth. So they basically creat these small batches and take them to sea to age. Mine is Voyage 17 (17th batch they have made this way) they say the salty sea air helps give it its distinctive flavor.
@Londy3 — I dunno. It's kind of expensive. I can't decide between the SPC Plum Pudding/Bourbon and the SPC Mississippi River/Rum version. Both have received excellent reviews, with the bourbon being compared to Frog Morton's Cellar.
@RockyMountainBriar Zack Hamric is an artisan pipe carver from Florida. I bought this pipe at the one and only New Orleans Pipe Show in October 2015. It's a reverse calabash with a narrow chamber that makes it a really good flake pipe. I haven't seen anything new from him in a while so I just sent an email to see if he is still carving.

In the summer I make my famous Southern Sweet tea called, Arnold Palmer Back 9
I actually like the flavor of strong black tea, the bourbon and sugar just give it that little extra kick without overpowering😉
