@KA9FFJ; Back in the 90's, the kids moved out and our previous dog had to be put down and I moved into second in command. Now I'm back to third in command. The only thing I out rank in this house is our goldfish.
Happy Labor Day everyone. After mowing, trimming, and grilling, I'm taking a break with some Frankenblend in a Frankenpipe. Labor Day is a great holiday because I don't have to work... Oh wait, I haven't worked for 14 years... nevermind...
Just back from a 4 day golf trip and had a blast. 20 guys total made for a manageable group and the weather was absolutely amazing. Yesterday evening I settled in on my back screened in porch with some Loire Valley in a @Corey562 artisan pipe. Lovely... just lovely...
Smoking my Pete PPN 2023 loaded with a mix of Flandria “Le Cerf Ardennais” Semois and C&D “Espresso”. I’m glad I mixed the tobaccos, I don’t think I could take the Semois straight. It’s still a bit overpowering, but I’ll “Cowboy Up” and power through.
Sutliff Mark Twain in a Smoker's Haven bent. Don't rush this blend, or it will have a tendency to bite. Take your time and it will give you a good experience...
Now I'm taking a break this afternoon from helping the wife with house cleaning (happy wife, happy life), with some MacBaren 7 Seas Royal in a reworked and restemmed noname. I have a feeling this was a practice pipe, and the shank was so short I decided to fit it with a shank extension. I still find it hard to believe it is one of my better smoking pipes...🤔

Winston is just trying to remind you who's the boss...😏

You'd think seniority would count for SOMETHING! 🙂
Great pipe!
Nice. How old?
Seniority don't stand for nothing around here. It must be political.

I think Peterson quit using bone for the “chimney/extension/condenser” sometime in the 60’s or before.
Sounds like you worked your tail off on labor day to me 😜
