At the New Orleans Pipe Club meeting. Popped open a tin of Edward G. Robinson from 2016. As a thank you for meeting at the pipe shop, the manager gifted the club with a bottle of Bulleit bourbon. Photos later.
I just finished my Comoy’s pipe loaded with LL-7, just a little over two hours……now, if I could do it with only two matches. It’s good to have goals🙂 The “Grand Slam” did it’s job with the LL-7 and the heel was nothing but dry, gray ash. The shank, on the other hand, was sopping wet…as the “Grand Slam” was designed to do.
I don't know yet what I will be smoking today. I was bored and did a complete inventory including weighing what I have in jars. I'm a slacker I guess because I have 12.06 lbs. of tobacco in the house with 3.25 lbs of it either opened or in jars. I found tobacco I didn't know I had.
I may start off with a bowl of George Washington, a blend R.J. Reynolds stopped producing in 1974.
I have one of my Radice “Silk Cut” pipes loaded with some Dan Tobacco “Devil’s Holiday” for the first bowl this evening. I’m thinking I might get another in later🙂. Also, with a little tweaking on the nozzle, I have my “Honest” pipe lighter working again👍🏻 I really love the longer tools and the bottom pivot point of the tools on this lighter👍🏻
I enjoyed that Panna Cotta when Sutliff first brought it out, at the same time as Eastfarthing. PC is another nice vanilla aromatic from the folks that gave us Vanilla Custard, in bulk. The two are quite similar. In fact, if I were the suspicious type I’d suspect they were the same; one tinned, one bulk, rather like Creme Brulee and Molto Dolce are very similar. My old palate cannot grok the subtle differences.
@Montecristo Creme Brûlée and Molto Dolce are very similar because they are the same. The subtle difference comes from one being a bulk and they other is tinned. I haven't had Panna Cotta in a long time. I may have to consider buying some in the future.

I love Estellas, got three of them.
Now that's a pipe!

You have a wonderful host and good pipe club for sure. Lucky!
How do you like that LL7?

I love that pipe!
If that one isn't on my list, make it so...😄
What @KA9FFJ said.
Bamboo shanked cob!
Now THAT'S something you don't see very often...
Nice...

Great lid. Where did ya get it?
Makes me think I should retire waaaay early. I've always said work is overrated 😂
