Smoking my own blend I call Very VaPer Mod. 2. It is blended from all the Virginians I have with just the right amount of Perque and a little black Cavendish to smooth it out.
Went and saw a friend (doctor / Podiatrist) concerning a three week bout of Gout, After ex rays, ultrasound, local anesthetic shots (many) and a few other injections and samples, all I wanted to do is go home and chill.
Turns out he just received a shipment of 400Lbs of Sockeye Salmon and it was in his trunk of his car, he insisted I take some, finally got home, wife asks about dinner, I say Na.
Since I have been injected with long acting pain killer and steroid I say I'm having a Bourbon Old Fashion, (been weeks since I had a drink).
Now I'm finally sitting on the patio smoking the new meerschaum with a homemade oriental forward Balkan and wondering what happens when you have arthritis in your feet, (another revelation of today's doctor appointment.
I am not one to complain, just my nature, but there are times I feel as the song goes, that if it wasn't bad luck I wouldn't have no luck at all.
I really hope the old fashion doesn't kick the gout back up. On the up side it could always be worse, right?
Beautiful day here in Central Iowa. Peterson 945 with some Early Morning Pipe in my shed with the door open letting in the fresh cool air. Life is good!
@RockyMountainBriar; You are right. I had the stem replaced years ago. Now that I look at it again, the name has been buffed out to the point I can't really tell if it says Peterson or not. After a better look, I'm not sure what it is. You have a good eye. All I can say for sure is it is a nice little pipe. Thanks for keeping me honest!
@RockyMountainBriar; I used a loop and still can't make it out. I really don't think it is a Peterson. It doesn't matter, except for the fact I made the identification error. As I think back, this may be the first mistake I ever made............. (This morning)!
Smoking some 5+ year old C&D “Old Grove” in a 1989 ASPC pipe by Mark Tinsky tonight. It is one of the first pipes I bought as an estate pipe and spiffed up.
Oh, in case you're wondering about the roof peak leaking, I have a clear wall corner protector cut and ready to peel the tape and stick on after paint thoroughly dries...
Trimmed some lower branches on a couple of oaks in my back yard. Got tired of hitting my head now and then while mowing. Anyway, while going to and from our yard waste management site, I decided to do some Lane BCA in a repaired and reworked Royal Danish 955 panel.

Heal up soon Brother, we need you out there!
I've never seen a Peterson that looks anything like that one, and I've seen a few. Nice pipe, it has a Danish flair to it.
Thanks for the response. Anyone else? Vanilla Custard vs. LL-7
