I just finished a 50/50 mixture of 'Corn Cob Pipe And Button Nose' and 'Molto Dolce' in my Nording Harmony Bent Dublin.
It's the middle of February in the Midwest and as strange as it may seem I was sitting outside in a short sleeve shirt taking in the sun while enjoying a bowl. Seems to me last year we were buried in knee-deep snow and freezing our keesters off.
Early still, planning to have a bowl of Parson's Blend, from Country Squire. Last smoke, Half & Half in a MM cob pipe, yesterday, while burning brush trimmed and cut from late fall. Yes, I live in a rural area, closest residence over a quarter mile away.
Can't really call it smoking because I just seem to be getting myself dizzy mixing Perique with what-ever sweet aromatic I pull out of my cellar. This is a little harder than making home made spaghetti sauce.
FM On the Town. Which seems extra smooth and mellow after sticking to a couple other FMs for the past few weeks.
Making sauce is so easy. The secret is to sing to it while it slowly cooks. It likes Italian opera which is so fitting considering I'm posing about On the Town.
Haven't been here - or smoking much - because have been whacked out with the flu and recovery. Yesterday was the first day that tobacco tasted good to me. About to get out my Brandt freehand and enjoy some MacB HH VS.
I picked up a couple of samples at my favorite pipe shop in Metairie, LA yesterday. One is labeled McTruffle and the other is McRaspberry. I think they are renamed bulk blends from Lane.
