I earlier had a bowl of Sutliff Vanilla Custard in a Bones Fat Author. A little later I had Scottys' Butternut Burley in my Savinelli Solaria. (An editorial note: This Butternut Burley is sneaking up on my 'favoritism" for my Vanilla Custard, see what youi did Gordon).
@DavidR002 I hope all goes well with the surgery tomorrow. Keep us updated.
Currently smoking GLP's Sextant in my Mountbatten Billiard. As a Navy Flake fan, the Latakia helps this blend stand out. Highly recommended if you enjoy Latakia, if not, stay away. Hope everyone had a good Monday!
Sipping on a bit of Savinelli: "Doblone d'Oro" curly cut in an antique Dunhill/Parker. I have recently developed a love affair with VaPe's and a good friend gifted me a sample. It's lovely!
I broke one of my own cardinal rules today. I used last nights dirty pipe to start the day off. Went to the local Humidor with my brother and picked up a tin of MacBaren: Club Blend roll cake that had a June 2013 tin date on it. Couldn't wait to get home so I stuffed the Dunhill/Parker that was in my pocket full of it. Oh, How sweet it is!!!!! While I was there I scored a last years tin of Plumcake Navy Blend. Good smokes for good prices.
It is my day off finally so I started it off with some Carter Hall in a bent MM. I tried Backwoods Buttered Rum again in my estate Kaywoodie Flame Grain Canadian. We just don't get along. It bit like a snapping turtle. I had to give up on it half way through the bowl.
Supper was kind of rich (bratwurst and mashed potatoes ) so I wanted something like a cigar and Maltese Falcon in my Peterson military fit fit the bill. Usually I park the English blends for the summer but this year they seem to be working through the heat.
C&D bulk Balkan in a churchwarden. Nice orientals, good balance with the Latakia and Virginia, without being too strong. Closer to John Cotton's Number 1, which I think is my favorite.
Just returned home from eating out with the wife at Fire & Smoke, a BBQ restaurant. Finished the meal with some frozen vanilla custard. Now I'm relaxing on the screened-in back porch doing some Sutliff Black Cherry with a touch of Lane BCA in a Paronelli, while sipping some lemonade I brought home from the restaurant... Quite a good pairing of tobaccos...
Thank you gentleman you've made me feel so much better.
I started off with moontrance in a military bit Peterson. It couldn't figure out if it wanted to bite my or go out. I switched to Carter Hall in a bent Missouri Meerschaum I picked up at Rite Aid. Now I'm trying to figure out what next from the dozen or so pouches I've got open. Decisions, decisions...
I guess the decision is made, the rain has arrived.

Celebrating the first day of the first heat wave of summer with some Carter Hall in my nearly new Dr Grabow Grand Duke.
Thanks for the support
May you be granted a swift and complete healing......

Than you gentlemen for my promotion to master. I'm still waiting patiently for that wisdom that comes with age. No sign yet [
