I had left a full bowl of Mac Baren HH Bold Kentucky in my Nording since Saturday. Smoking it right now. The flavor is undiminished. One of my go to tobacs.
Well, it's now at never. Time for some Pumpkin Spice in one of my Halloween/fall pipes: a reworked and refurbed Tinder Box. I guess it's the orange lucite stem with a black stummel that, in my mind, designates it as a Halloween season pipe...
So my daughter who is 24 and does not have school on Wednesdays took off work because she loves Halloween.
We generally carve pumpkins together each year and this year we continued the tradition, although, as it was a temperate day we did it on the patio to facilitate my enjoying a pipe during the carvothon.
Because I grow the pumpkins, there have been some years when we have carved as many is 16, struggling to find places to put them, as 10 is about as many as we can get on the front porch.
Currently enjoying a bowl of of one of my favorites, G.L. Please Gaslight in a large Molina bent billiard.
Wishing all the brothers and sisters of the briar a bodacious and enjoyable Halloween
Appreciate the info @motie2. I will definitely keep that in mind.
My wife my kids and I just returned from our annual trick or treat night, it’s 55 outside and a clear sky. I think I’m going to find an appropriate smoke for the evening.
@Jdukes Sutliff does a decent job with this blend. The aroma does give off hints of pumpkin and I also seem to detect some cinnamon as well. It is a mild blend and I enjoyed sitting on my front porch nursing it for over 2 hours. Definitely a must if you're an aromatic kind of guy... It seems to fit right in, especially during the fall/early winter season...
Last night - Halloween Night - I finished up the evening smoking some Russ' "Candy Corn" in my Peterson Jekyll & Hyde pipe in honor of the occasion. I ended up my month long movie marathon watching the remake of "The Wolfman". I originally planned to put my Halloween blends back into the cellar but after a bowl of Sutliff's "Pumpkin Spice" I decided I'll continue smoking that one till the end of Autumn. I only wish I had gotten around to ordering some "Sleepy Hallow" but it doesn't seem to be a blend you can easily order on line.
@ghostsofpompeii Like your Halloween spirit (no pun intended) AMC had 3 Bowery Boys movies about them and monsters or ghosts in one form or another on the 30th, always fun to watch old horror movies or comedy horror.
As for the Sleepy Hollow tobacco, I noted several people getting it three weeks back, if you want it I think you have to get it from a Straus Tobacconist
@Bloodhound61 I like to use snus because no one ever knows that you are using it. Sometimes it gives me the hiccups. Camel snus is my favorite, sometimes I use Swedish snus. Often times the snus from Sweden is too strong for me.
Just back from a round of golf. Decided to do some CB Copper in my "Halloween" Tinder Box I rusticated. Been almost s year since I last used this pipe. Used it Halloween and almost forgot what a good smoker it is... I have too many pipes (if that's possible)...
@KA9FFJ Speaking strictly for myself ( as a firm believer of overkill ) there is no such thing as too many pipes or for that matter tobacco, food, firearms, ammo, sex ect.........................
Well on second thought, thinking back aways, I guess you can have too much sex, as I recall, it causes pain.

Erinmore mixture is nice on occasion. I find Erinmore flake to be more of a challenge. Some disagree......

Agreed. But for folks who are interested, the URL for Straus Tobacconist is http://www.e-straus.com/
I frequented the Cinti. shop in my college days.
