Extreme heat advisory in affect for St. Louis area through Monday. Unless I get up at 5 AM ( And that's not going to happen ) , no partaking of the briar from me for a while...
Thanks @Kmhartle for the compliment on that Shayne. Acquired that one about 6 years ago at the St. Louis pipe show. That pipe is a full 7 1/4 inches and smokes like a dream... Thanks again...
Well, I braved the heat and did some half Paladin Black Cherry and half black Cavendish in an MM Cob. Enjoyed the experience, but I'm definitely getting a shower in the next few minutes to get the beads of sweat off before relaxing with a good movie... HAPPY FATHER'S DAY ALL!...
Earlier I had a bowl of Amphora Virginia in my little Joao Ries bent Dublin. This is a pleasant, easy to smoke, blend that could easily be an all day smoke. Probably will crack the rotation.
About to fire up some Larson Signature in a Cayuga bent Dublin.
Trying a new blend done up by the fellow that has the only thing close to a B&M locally.....based on Lane RLP-6 with some added english-sourced black cavendish, according to him. I can't quite decide what I think. I've never used the term before, but there's an almost "floral" accent to it. The Aromatrix gave it neutral scores on room note.
