A mixture of Quiet Nights/Gaslight by G.L. Pease. Used a very small amount of Gaslight. Didn’t do this mix on purpose though. I put the Gaslight cakes in my QN jar trying to kill 2 birds with one stone.
A bowl of Russ' Monthly Blend "Snow Drift" in my Cassillero 591. Great tasting aromatic - like a cup of hot cocoa.
At the time I originally bought this blend it was part of a large order to Pipes&Cigars as I was just starting to build a cellar. So it kind of got lost in the mix as I transferred plastic bags of bulk tobacco to Mason jars for storage. The first few times I smoked it I thought it was okay - but nothing special. At the time I was really digging on the Russ blend "Warm Up". But after a little over a year in a Mason jar "Snow Drift" really seems to have flavored-up quite a bit. I know it's been said that aromatics don't age and often lose their flavor rather then get better with age ... but this blend really improved since I first tried it. I know a warm cup of hot chocolate isn't what you'd think about when the outside temperature is in the 90s', but this isn't something I'm going to let sit around unsmoked until the winter months. I'm pulling this out more often.
Currently smoking C&D’s Morley’s Best in my Peterson XL14. It’s s bit stuffy in the garage, even with a fan running. Not looking forward to the middle of summer, that’s for sure.
Morning all. It's Wednesday, which sucks because it's not Friday, but at least it's a short work week. The day begins with some The Country Squire Second Breakfast in my Peterson sitter.
It's Wednesday, which means it's my Friday! Then my 3 days off. I love my schedule! On my way to work this evening, I'll be enjoying some Sasieni Balkan in my Carey English Gentleman.
