Hope I'm permitted to post this here since it isn't really a joke but... just a funny true-life story.
When I was younger, I had a roommate (we will call him Toby since that was his real name). Toby was a soft-spoken hillbilly type which isn't such a bad thing since the hillbilly line runs strong in my family. He had long hair and a pencil thin moustache. One morning, he staggers into the front room and interrupts my cartoon time. I look over at him and he's standing there with his long hair, half-awake. First words out of his mouth... "I've got ca-ca in my hair". Sure enough, there is a big brownish-black 'lump' of what looks like "ca-ca" tangled up in his hair. Puzzled and somewhat amused, I asked "What?". "I've got a lump of ca-ca in my hair." says Toby. "Why are you telling me this?" I replied. Toby shrugged, turned around and staggered back down the hall to his room. A few minutes later, he comes back out holding his pillow. He proudly lifts it up to show me and says "I've got ca-ca on my pillow too!". "Dude... if you've got ca-ca in your hair and on your pillow... you've got a problem." I says. "Yeah... I can't get it out of my hair." replies Toby. "Go take a shower or something." I replied. Once again, quite amused with himself, Toby staggered back down the hall giggling to himself. I can hear him... "how did I get ca-ca in my hair?" I shouted back at him.. "good question Toby". 20 minutes later, hair wet and straggly, he comes back out into the front room. "I've still got ca-ca in my hair." Toby says with a grin. Before I can reply, he turns and disappears into the hall bathroom only to reemerge 10 minutes later with a large amount of his hair (and the ca-ca) in his hand. He'd taken a pair of scissors to it and butchered his long hair pretty good. Toby, grinning ear-to-ear, says to me "It's not ca-ca... I fell asleep with a jumbo tootsie roll in my mouth last night. It must have fallen out onto my pillow." I shook my head and returned to watching Bugs Bunny, only slightly more amusing than Toby. True story.
