I was just watching “Return To Lonesome Dove” on TV and saw Lou Gosset Jr’s character smoking a pipe. It is one of those “Hunter’s Pipes”? with a wind-cap. He was wearing it on a cord around his neck. Crummy screenshot, but I think you should be able to make it out. Yes, I need closed captions....I’m that deaf.
@motie2 - That’s a great series. I’ve only recently been learning about the true history of the Tulsa Race Riots (Massacre). And, I used to live in Tulsa! One of the worse race-related incidents in American history, and we never learned about it in high school Oklahoma History class. They are teaching it now at least. I most recently learned that the reason they labeled it a “riot” was for insurance purposes. Riots weren’t covered under insurance policies. So the white-owned insurance companies didn’t have to pay to rebuild the black-owned businesses that were destroyed. Tragic!
Next up, we have a self portrait of artist Lowell Davis, as well as one of his pieces. Lowell has a quirky sense of humor, and obviously loves his corncob pipes. He's hardly ever photographed without puffing on one. I love the little details of his second piece, like the tins of Prince Albert at the top of the store shelf.
Here's a few more art pics. The first two come from a series called the Foxwood Tales, while the third is a commission piece by David Petersen of the graphic novel series Mouse Guard. There's plenty of great mice pipe smokers in that series.

For you Monty Python fans!
I don't know if this has been posted before but here's Moe Howard from The Three Stooges.
First up, a picture from WW1 of a group of French soldiers marching past a dog General, complete with hat, goggles, and pipe.
Next up, from the 1950's, a husband relaxes with a pipe as his wife mows the lawn in an enclosed air conditioned riding lawn mower.
The bad guy, Christopher Lee, smokes a pipe in the flic.
