@Londy3 Didn't know that! Although I don't buy or collect knives either so I'm totally ignorant on the topic. It's good to know though, and I agree, if you can find at least the same quality product for nearly the same price and it's produced in the States, then buy that product.
@vtgrad2003 I carry my .45 IWB. The pancake holster is a little cumbersome for it. Its a double stack mag so the belt is adjusted two holes from normal out.
He “says” he never pulled the trigger. I wonder if he was slip-firing the hammer and missed half-cock by just enough to cap off the round. With the right/wrong/unfortunate/rare? circumstances with a Colt single-action or clone (without a hammer block or drop firing pin safety) it could possibly happen….but….it’s still he/him? that was in control of the weapon when he discharged it. It’s not called a “negligent discharge” instead of an “accidental discharge” for nothing.
@RockyMountainBriar Agreed. Furthermore, for anyone with any firearm experience would not simply take a firearm from someone without question and point it at someone else and pull the trigger without taking three seconds to release the cylinder and inspect the ammo beforehand. Do fake loads have lead noses sticking out of the casings? No. Are fake loads full metal jackets? No. Fake loads usually have synthetic components or pinched casings for obvious reasons. One quick check would have likely raised a flag that there is a live round in the cylinder. It’s simple negligence on his and the loaders part. The only reason the media is protecting him is because they are all anti 2a, even him who has made millions off movies with guns in them.
@Londy3; My Great grand father was a surveyor in S. E. Missouri and he owned a 38 cal. S&W Model 1-1/2 (I think) which my younger brother has today. My Grandfather and I shot it when I was maybe 11 or 12. It was the first time I ever shot a pistol and a moment I will never forget. I will always be a S&W Man.
@vtgrad2003 Hmm, GM-Ford, Peterson-Savinelli, Colt-S&W, it seems we can’t agree on anything🙂 I will say, I have owned a ‘68’ F-100 4x4 (good truck), I do love my Savinelli’s (actually, I think they are of a generally higher quality than Peterson’s, but they also cost more in general as well), I have no issues with S&W’s either, but damn, I Love my Python Hunter.
I love this! (Rep. Massie, Kentucky.) But it's not unlike the old days either...because it's American! I'm already seeing dipsticks out there saying 'look, this is the modern republican party, isn't it disgusting!' Obviously, these non-binary panty-waists don't know American history too well.
Another favorite is the “Kiyoga Baton" or "Steel Cobra," a device consisting of a manually triggered telescoping heavy coiled steel spring whip terminated in a heavy striking tip.
Yes, I’d say we are at least on the same page, and hell, who doesn’t like a little back and forth banter🙂. Oh yes, some cry baby’s that think every view differing from theirs is bullying.
