I'm gonna try once again getting a YouTube video on here hopefully it works this time. The band is quite possibly the best British progressive rock band currently recording and have been around since the early 80 ... and each new albums is better than the one before. So instead of stagnating and living on well beyond their time - the group has aged like fine wine. The video I'm hoping to download is from their latest album "The Road Of Bones" and the title track is actually a strangely haunting song about a serial killer. if this works I'll add a few more.
<<Relax with muttnchop: Beautiful images and music to relax with while you smoke your pipe.

This video is all about relaxation. View images of far off places and times gone by while you listen to the sweet sounds of the Mountain Dulcimer played by muttnchop himself. Pull up a chair, fill your pipe with your favorite blend, and loose yourself. Title of tunes: 1. Erin's Lullabye 2. Appalachian Autumn 3. Hoskins Jig 4. Boiled Peanuts.>>
I'm currently listening to a CD featuring two filmscores from composer Richard Band - "Re-Animator" and "Bride Of The Re-Animator". It's apparent the guy was heavily influenced by Bernard Herrmann as this is somewhat of a homage since there are parts that almost mirror Herrmann's work on "Psycho".
With the death of Richard Wright and the ongoing feud between Roger Waters and David Gilmore it's doubtful we'll ever see any incarnation of Pink Floyd anymore. And for fans like myself that's a crying shame. But there is a band from Germany that actually began as a Pink Floyd Cover band but eventually began making music of their own and the end result is the band RPWL (it's initials for the original groups members ... but since that time a few of those initials have come and gone - but the name remains the same). RPWL is what Floyd might have been had they continued in the vein of their last two albums "A Momentary Lapse Of reason" and "The Division Bell".. Although there remains a strong Pink Floyd vibe in the band's music they have developed their own style - which is probably more apparent to me than someone watching them for the first time since you haven't followed their progression. If all goes well and I can properly download this to the site you should see the band perform their song "Unchain The Earth" live. Wish me luck. If not - at least maybe I'll get the link to show up.
That second post didn't turn out as expected - only the second video works and once again it didn't show up on the site. Well at least I got the Flower Kings video to show up so I guess I'm improving.
